The 61 year woman (Hoa) pictured above lives in Vietnam. She recently trusted Christ soon after “Operation Samaritan’s Compassion” was able to send her some financial help. We are grateful for her pastor (David) and his wife for loving her enough to help her physically and spiritually and we are thankful for all that have given to help the poor, the needy, and the helpless.

PLEASE PRAY FOR HER SPIRITUAL GROWTH!

The past five weeks have been awesome to say the least. God is good all the time, but there are times that seem to be better than others, and over the past five weeks, especially regarding the ministry, God has been especially good!

Now, don’t get me wrong, there have been many a burden and we have been very busy, but amidst the busyness and the burdens of life, WE HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED.  In fact, we have been blessed beyond measure!

Our folks back “home” have absolutely stepped up to the plate in so many different ways, and we are so very grateful to God, for each of them for their labors of love, and of course, for your prayers and financial support!

Of course, along with the regular ministry duties of discipling six men about twelve hours a week, teaching two sets of Bible College students twice a week, traveling all over the country preaching, teaching, and reporting to our supporting churches, over the past month, GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD WITH OUR “OPERATION SAMARITAN’S COMPASSION” MINISTRY!

As most of you know, OPERATION SAMARITAN’S COMPASSION was birthed during the COVID CRISIS that has shaken much of the world. It is a ministry that has enabled us to send thousands of dollars to poor families and struggling churches to help to alleviate some of the economic anguish that has been the result of COVID-19.

WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THE CHURCHES AND THE CHRISTIANS THAT HAVE HELPED ECONOMICALLY AND OUR FOLKS BACK “HOME” FOR DOING THE HARD WORK AS SOLDIERS FOR THE KING AND HIS KINGDOM!

Over the past 4 weeks, through OPERATION SAMARITAN’S COMPASSION, God has allowed and enabled us, along with many others, to help about 30 poor and needy families, help one of our sister churches to start the building of a new hut for an extremely poor family (church members), as well as help a National pastor to start the building of a  modest home (cost about $3,000) for him and his family, help with the funeral expenses of two different funerals, helped to assist the soon delivery of a child, treat  about 10 or 12 factory (sweat shop) workers to a wonderful night out, help another extremely poor family caring for their paralyzed son, buy crutches for the crippled, and continued to support the family of a pastor that has been incarcerated for over 13 months now!

We are so very grateful that over the past ten months or so, “OPERATION SAMARITAN’S COMPASSION,” led by many of our National believers, has not only been able to help folks physically, but have had the opportunity to see many saved and baptized as a result of this ministry, your giving, and your prayers!

It has been amazing to see how many people have been saved and baptized the first three months of this year. In four different churches that we have helped to start and/or establish, we have had 20 saved and another 20 baptized over the past three months. That is not to mention the handful that have been saved and baptized in two other churches that we are working with indirectly. God has been good!

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THIS MINISTRY AND FOR THE SOULS THAT HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH THIS MINISTRY!

As always, my wife and I want to thank you for your love, friendship, faithfulness in praying and giving to support our ministry in the 1040 Window and more specifically in Southeast Asia!

Your Missionaries in Southeast Asia,

Johnny and Denise
