Greetings in Christ! In the past 30 days, since my arrival to the states, I have had the privilege to preach in 13 different churches. It has been a real blessing to be able to spend some time with my children and grandchildren, to spend time with my brother–who is still in need of a miracle, and to be able to share with many the great need in the 1040 window in general, and Asia more specifically. What has been a great blessing is to have so many come and talk to me about God stirring in their hearts a desire to pray more, give more, and in some cases, a burning desire to go to the needy area known as the 1040 window. One of the many blessings came about a week ago, when a Vietnam Veteran came up to me after a service and said that for years he hated the Vietnamese people, but God had worked forgiveness in his heart, and God was now stirring him to do something in that part of the world. He wasn’t sure what, but he was sure God wanted him to do something!

Please continue to pray that God will bless as He opens doors for me to share with churches the great need in the 1040 window in general and Asia more specifically!

As I mentioned in my previous update, Pastor Dwight Tomlinson of Liberty Baptist Church in Newport Beach, CA has launched a new ministry called “Barnabas1040.com”.  The primary objective of this ministry is to help support national pastors in the 1040 window to reach their own people. It looks as if the first national pastor they will be taking on for support is one who we had the opportunity to work with while we were in SE Asia.

Please continue to pray for Barnabas1040.com and other like-minded ministries that have a desire to help nationals reach their own people.

My wife and I will be heading to Michigan in just a few days. We will be in Michigan for almost a month. We will be reporting in a few supporting churches, as well as sharing our burden for the 1040 window in a few new churches. Of course, my wife will get an opportunity to spend a few days with her family while we are there. After returning from Michigan, we will be in Northern CA for about three weeks, and then off to the East coast. I will fly back to CA for one weekend when Pastor Tomlinson and I will be preaching for Pacific Baptist Church’s Missions’ Conference. Primary emphasis: 1040 window in general and the country of China more specifically!

Please pray for our travels and that God will use us for His glory. Also, that my brother’s dream to send a team to China does not die!

Now, for some really exciting news as I conclude this update. My daughter Joy, who graduated from Pacific Baptist Bible College, and has been teaching at Pacific Baptist School in Long Beach for the past two years, will be going to Cambodia to serve alongside her parents and the rest of the team in Phnom Penh. If you are at all interested in supporting a young lady who loves The Lord, who loves people and thoroughly enjoys serving people (especially children), may I heartily recommend Joy Esposito for your prayers and financial support.

For the most part, along with assisting good old dad, Joy will be working with the children’s and teen ministries in Phnom Penh, I think she will probably also be involved with tutoring children.

For His Glory in the 1040 Window,

Johnny & Denise Esposito
